I am a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly ten years of experience treating adults, couples, adolescents, and children. My style is direct and compassionate, and I provide both brief, solution-focused therapy as well as long-term therapy. While I integrate many different theoretical orientations into my work (including but not limited to: psychodynamic theory, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT for couples), attachment theory, cognitive behavioral theory (CBT), strength based approaches, and mindfulness and relaxation techniques), I thoughtfully tailor my approach to your specific needs.

I have worked at numerous outpatient clinics where I provided therapy to adults presenting with a number of challenges such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, substance abuse, illness, parenting concerns, relationship issues, and school and career difficulties. In addition to my work with adults and couples, I was part of a staff of psychologists at California Pacific Medical Center’s (CPMC) Kalmanovitz Child Development Center where I provided individual counseling to children and adolescents, consulted with parents and teachers, and facilitated social skills groups. In addition to my clinical work, I supervise psychology graduate students and volunteer for A Home Within, a program which serves children in the foster care system.
