I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience treating adults, couples, adolescents, and children. My style is direct and compassionate, and I provide both brief, solution-focused therapy as well as long-term therapy. While I integrate many different theoretical orientations into my work, I thoughtfully tailor my approach to your specific needs.
I have a passion for working with women undergoing various transitions in their lives such as entering the workforce, changing careers, beginning and ending romantic relationships, and transition to motherhood. I have a particular interest in supporting women during the perinatal period, and hold a course certificate in Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I am currently working toward certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and use this treatment modality frequently with clients who have experienced trauma. In addition to my clinical work, I provide supervision and consultation for pre and postdoctoral students in clinical programs throughout the Bay Area.
